Philippines have many problems at different periods, i.e. corruption, drug infestation, natural calamities, Yolanda, Taal eruption you name it, year in year out. With staling energy, we blamed and challenged once, twice and many times whoever is the administration. The solution continued to be far-reaching,  then we stopped.  We looked at ourselves.

We have cultivated our lives with resilience and a gem of wisdom that bloom inside us becomes our weapon. Inspired by the freedom and opportunities afforded by our host country,  the UK,  which we chose to live and work in, as care home, private household, hospitals and hotel staff, we are able to send our hard-earned money to the Philippines

                                   Covid 19   versus Luisa  Real

Luisa became the chairperson of TANGLAW UK in 2019. The tiny gentle colleague as she is fondly remembered, always wore a big smile even before starting a meeting.

On January 9,  2021, Luisa gave in to Covid 19. While many of the families of this pandemic victims were unable to see their love ones being buried or cremated, Luisa’s family, friends and few of the TANGLAW ladies were able to attend her funeral in East London. The ladies continued to pray with her family up to the 40th day via Zoom.

May Luisa rest in peace in the company of our lord
